The Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission is appointed by the Goldsboro City Council. They represent the citizens of Goldsboro in voicing opinions on Parks and Recreation issues. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month from September to May or as needed.  Meetings are held at the Herman Park Center from 4:00 - 5:00pm. Anyone wishing to serve on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission may call 739-7482. The Advisory Commission Members are: Jerry Phillips – Chair Jeffrey McBarron - Co-Chair Betsy Wharton George Cogdell Ginger Huff Mary T. McEachern William D. McRoy C. Brian Woodard Dexter Yelverton Habekah Cannon, Student Member Donnie Chatman, Council Member The Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission meetings are scheduled and posted with the City's  other regular meetings  on a monthly basis.
