The Hub
The Hub is a well-equipped performance pavilion providing the infrastructure to host large events, while also accommodating more intimate experiences. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy concerts, movies, yoga classes and much more!

Rental Requests for The Hub must be submitted at least 60 days ahead of
your proposed event, but may be made up to 1 year in advance.

The Hub has a Men’s, Women’s, and a Family Bathroom. These facilities are set on a timer to open and close with the timing of the park.
If your event needs accommodations for an earlier open or later close time, these things will be discussed when reserving for your event!

Yes! The Hub has integrated power at the stage, pedestals/bollards for food trucks, and (some) power throughout the grounds of the property.
All power needs will be discussed with renters prior to event approval to determine if you would need supplementary power for your event.

Pets are allowed at The Hub, but they must leashed at all times. Pet owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
There is ample parking available downtown – but absolutely no vehicles are allowed in The Hub.
Parking along the streets, across the street in Freedom Field, and various other parking lots throughout the Downtown Area.
Alcohol is allowed at The Hub, as it is part of the Downtown Goldsboro Social District.
To have alcohol at your event, you will need to obtain an ABC Permit, as well as approval through the City Manager’s Office.
The Social District boundaries will not encompass The Hub during events which serve or sell alcohol.
The Hub opened to the public in 2021 after years of hard-work and a dedicated vision from the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation to redevelop Downtown Goldsboro. The project was funded by a $5 million TIGER grant awarded to the City of Goldsboro to revitalize, redevelop, and improve the streets and infrastructure of Downtown Goldsboro. Since its opening, The Hub has hosted numerous events, provided public restrooms to Downtown, and added a safe, elevated park space for all citizens of Goldsboro to enjoy!
