This event is completely free, and is a part of state-wide celebration of the MST’s 42nd birthday!

Join us for a 4 mile guided hike along Goldsboro’s leg of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail on Saturday, September 7th, 2019!

We will meet at Herman Park Center (just over the halfway way point in our journey), where everyone will park. You will check in here, and load up on a bus to be driven to Waynesborough Park to begin our hike. We will embark on our 4 mile hike/walk from Waynesborough Park through beautiful Downtown Goldsboro, as we make our way to Stoney Creek Park! After the hike, you will be bused back to your cars at Herman Park Center, where we will have a free hotdog lunch for you!

All ages & abilities are welcome to take part in this state-wide event!

The terrain along this hike will be mostly flat, with the majority taking place on the street or sidewalk!

Parking Location: Herman Park Center (901 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530)

Check-in will begin at 8:30, with the buses leaving HPC at 9 am.

Hike Start: Waynesborough Park

Hike Finish: Stoney Creek Park

If along the hike you are ready to quit, you will be able to stop at Herman Park Center (where your cars will be parked), which is just over the halfway point on our journey. All other participants can continue on to the finish at Stoney Creek Park.

This event is free, but we ask that all interested in participating sign up so that we can have adequate transportation available, as well as lunch for all participants!
